Tram tour through Dresden

A very interesting alternative to the very costly city tours with the double-decker bus (“Hop on – Hop off”), where information is received in a very impersonal and often not very original way via canned audio!

So the solution is a tour through Dresden in the tram with us Dresdeners!

We have an excellently developed tram network, buses, suburban trains and ferries.

I’ve been using all of these services for 30 years and know Dresden like the back of my hand.

Of course the tour will also cost some money, but you can already use the inexpensive family day ticket for two people and for small groups with four or five guests it is even cheaper. With me as your tour-guide, you can even reach remote destinations such as Pillnitz Castle with its wonderful park on the Elbe or the most beautiful milk shop in the world, “Pfunds Molkerei”, in the lively Neustadt, where the bohemian is at home. You can also take the funicular to the noble district White Deer or take the oldest mountain suspension railway in the world to Oberloschwitz.

From there or from the Albrechtsberg Castle you can see Dresden as if you were standing on a balcony; with good visibility even our neighboring country the Czech Republic!

Or how about a ferry crossing over the Elbe and then a short walk to the next tram stop?

What makes this tour so interesting and different from any other tour through the city is that I can offer you audio technology, which means that you can hear me everywhere on the tram or bus and I will tell you live about the sights and current topics along the way.
